Mum’s eulogy

Mrs Kirpal Kaur Ruprah (1926–2016), wife of the late Mr Harbans Singh Ruprah

Mum, you have left us but you will forever be in our hearts.

We hope that you all today, and always, will remember our mum as the vibrant beautiful woman she was. With a great sense of cheeky humour and a radiant smile.

Mum, you taught us to be fearless and to go ahead and do what we want, to be good of heart, to be kind and help others whenever we could.

Mum, our little family is even smaller now. We will miss you mum, Grandma, family and friend. You meant so much to so many of us, those who are here today and those who cannot be with us.

Over the last few days after your passing, so many friends and family have said what a wonderful and loving couple you and dad made. A match made in heaven. How much you both used to laugh and enjoy life to the maximum. 

Dad has been waiting for you mum. You are with him now. You know he was no good without you at his side. Parvin, Inderjit and I will miss you and so will your grandchildren, all of whom you adored. You always used to say to everyone what wonderful children you have. We loved you dearly mum and were at your side until the very end. 

We would like to thank our extended family and dear friends who supported us through your ill health. 

We are so proud of you mum and all of the things you achieved. Most of all we will miss you, our beautiful lovely mum.
